Hanoku Bathula
Dr. Hanoku Bathula has a wealth of academic and industry experience (spanning over two decades). Over the years, he has taught in a range of New Zealand institutions. Dr Bathula holds a Ph.D. in Business from Auckland University of Technology, Master of Business Studies (Hons) from Massey University, and a Master of Higher Education from the University of Auckland. He takes a multidisciplinary and experiential approach to teaching business.
Dr. Bathula started at the University of Auckland in 2013 when the Business Masters programmes were launched and successfully established. He was involved in curriculum development of the programme and taught a range of courses such as Managing People and Organisations, Business Economics, International Human Resources and Strategy Capstone courses. During the years 2016 - 2019, Hanoku has taken up industry positions in the health and disability sector and Immigration New Zealand.
Dr Bathula is a Senior Fellow (SFHEA) at Advance HE, UK, a Fellow of International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), Ireland and a Certified PRINCE2 Professional in Project Management from Axelos, UK.
His research interests are sustainability, health systems, strategy, leadership and business pedagogy. He has published in Academy of Management Learning & Education, European Business Review and Management Decision and Health Marketing Quarterly.
